Comments Off on iPod Touches

A couple of weeks ago we started doing a pilot project on iPod Touches. The first thing we did was to check what time it was in different parts of the world. Then we did some maths on the calculator. Mr. Quinn downloaded some apps and games to play like Chicktionary, Planets, Flip It, PB Harmony and lots more. A couple of weeks later we got more games. iPod Touches are really fun beacuse there are lots of games to play and there are also education apps to play as well. We all enjoy using them.

Comments Off on Paper Fish

Last week we started making fish with paper. At first we got a bit piece of paper with a fish on it. Then we cut it out and folded it in half. Mr. Quinn called us up in turn and we picked two sheets of coloured paper. We cut the coloured paper into 2cm strips. Then we drew 2cm lines on the fish and cut them out. We then started weaving the strips of coloured paper onto the fish. If the first one went over then the next one went over. Then we coloured the fish in. Mr. Quinn put a hole and string in the fish and he hung them up in the classroom.

Comments Off on Krazy Kids

On Tuesday we went to Krazy Kids in Athlone on our schhol tour. There was a pitch black slide and an orange twirly slide and there was a yellow bumpy slide. There was a footaball pitch and a couple of stairs and there was a ball pit. All of them were great fun. Then we had chicken nuggets, sausages and chips. We were full after that. Then we had another play and then we went to Glendeer farm.
